Staircase Rapids — Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021

This was our second time doing this hike and it was such a different experience than when we went in the winter! The road up has some pretty rough potholes but it’s doable as long as you take your time. We arrived at around 9:30am on a weekday and the main lot was almost full. We did the trail counter-clockwise based on other hikers recommendations and we pretty much had the trail to ourselves for the first half. My 2.5 year old was able to walk the whole trail and enjoyed all the sights along the way especially the water.
