and burns nearby peaks.
As mentioned in the last trip report, the last .25 miles of the road is significantly worse than the rest. If you're worried about your tires, park there and walk. The rest of the road is in good condition.
Tuesday evening hike, so I had the whole trail to myself. Not very eventful for the first 2/3, but the summit climb is always fun. Nothing dangerous, but poles made the rocks easier to manage.
