This is a very fun, easy 6 mile loop hike with less than 1000 feet of elevation gain. It is suitable for all levels of hiker, has 2 different parking lots, and trailhead restrooms. The bottom half would be wheelchair accessible. What makes this hike fun is the amazing amount of history you can read about as you make your way around the loop. There are interesting retaining walls and many railroad tunnels in varying degrees of dilapidation. We even got to see a bat fly out of one of the tunnels. There is something for everyone here and even trail runners will appreciate the trail conditions.
