We got to Johnston Ridge Observatory around 7am. There was quite a few people there already. It was the hottest day of the year and after that, I highly recommend going to when its cooler, haha. Beautiful wild flowers, a lot of chipmunks and we saw a heard of elk in the valley. We only made it half way before turning back.
