Hauser Lake Conservation Area — Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021

This is a great hike for checking out fall mushrooms. I can’t believe the wide variety of mushrooms that can be found here! Wear hunter-orange on fall visits since hunting may be taking place on the adjacent DNR property. The Conservation Area is fairly small, but it’s easy to extend a visit by walking through the DNR lands, too, including a beautiful little creek.
