Cable Line Trail, West Tiger 3 — Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021

Quick trip up the Cable route and down WT3.  No running water on cable route and relatively dry on the second half going up.  Could hear lots of chainsaws in the background and could see they were working on the summit of WT2 which is visible from the trail on the ridge on the way up prior to the barrier near the summit.  The summit of WT2 is really bare.  Also saw a cool woodpecker on a tree near the barrier doing it’s thing, pecking away at a tree that is left standing.  Trek down the regular trail revealed the usual lush green forest. Started raining when I got to the car.  Of note, there is a Tent City set up on the end of the frontage road again near the other trailhead just off I-90 east.
