Trip Report

Soos Creek Trail — Friday, Nov. 12, 2021

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

SE 256th St has some moderate flooding prior to reaching the small parking lot near 148th Ave SE. The water is flooding over the roadway causing cars to slow down to get through it. 148th AVE SE also has barricades up with "No Access" signs posted.

It was raining cats and dogs today- after hiking up to Bridal Veil Falls yesterday I wanted something a little less aggressive so I chose the Soos Creek Trail. It's paved and stretches some 6+ miles. I only walked a mile or so to ensure I could count it towards my hikes as I'm chipping away at the 52 Hike Challenge. This would be hike #42.

This is a good leg stretcher and I'd like to walk the whole thing when the weather gets better.
