Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area

Finally got back out to hike after the crazy snow we've had. The parking lot is snow free but is in probably the worst shape I've ever seen it. Large potholes up to a foot deep all over the place. They're pretty much unavoidable so be very careful if you do not have a high clearance vehicle. Little bit of snow at the bridge that runs over the stream but should be gone very soon. Otherwise, you'll start to get some short sections of snow at about 2,200 feet but it doesn't become constant until about 3,000 feet which is where I put on microspikes (though they're not required in the afternoon as the snow turns soft).

A few trees down on the trail but they're all pretty easily passable. Couple feet of snow accumulated at the top, though a lot of the rock outcroppings are bare which makes for some good perches to snack and take a break. Should be a great weekend weather wise so have fun out there!
