Trip Report

Wallace Falls State Park — Monday, Jan. 17, 2022

Central Cascades > Stevens Pass - West
Did anyone find the right one like this?

What a wonderful hike! Except I lost one of my hiking sticks and if by some miracle someone finds it please leave me a message and I’ll come pick it up. It’s purple like the picture shown.

There’s just a little bit of snow in the beginning but nothing hiking shoes can’t handle. It was busy but nothing too crazy. I would recommend having lunch at the Middle Falls lookout as it has more comfortable seating than the Upper Falls. Someone on the hike said that taking The Old RR and then traveling south to meet up with the North Fork Bridge had no one hiking in that portion of the trail, might try this next time. There’s great signage on this trail and clean heated bathrooms at the trailhead. This one definitely pushed my non hike loving 7 year old, but she finished.

Great map that I didn’t see till we finished the hike.
The only snow that is directly on the trail.
Checkpoints!
