Crossing over to river view trail

What a lovey park for kids. Parked at the south parking lot. Took the lower trail. Enjoyed exploring the ancient steam shovel and quarry above. This would be a great place for a picnic with a group of kids.

Went down to the river next. Climbed a huge maple together. Jumped over a little creek.

other highlights include river view trail and the south end of beaver lodge pond. These places were beautiful

definitely download the map beforehand there are a lot of trails and they’re mostly unmarked.
