Arrived at the trailhead around 8:45am - the Rattlesnake parking lot was already pretty busy, but there were only a handful of cars in the Iron Horse lot. The trail starts flat along the Iron Horse Trail before turning right up through the woods. The summit is reached relatively quickly and the trail is rarely very steep. The summit offers great views across Middle Fork and Mt Si. There is a fork in the trail at Saddle Junction which allows you to make a loop through the woods, returning back to the Iron Horse Trail. Good for a quick hike near to the very popular Rattlesnake Ledge.
