The marked wanded trail is on the left just past the warming hut, I missed it because I thought the trail was at the end of the road past the maintenance shed. And then up at the road, you can follow the wands to the left (Mazama Ridge) that winds up and then down, or walk the road going to the right towards Inspiration Point, which could be dangerous after heavy snow.

I assume you started at Narada falls parking lot. The start of the wands can vary with conditions. Sometimes it does start past the shed.

Ah, good to know, thanks; yes - I started at the Narada lot but the directions I read said to pass the warming hut and maintenance shed, so I didn't even look at the hut with it's very obvious signage. Doh!! Rookie mistake....
