I arrived at 10 am and at that point there were still a few spots. Some of the early morning crew were starting to head out. You can park pretty close to the trailhead but the actual trailhead is covered in snow. I will say BE CAREFUL. A truck and a few four wheel SUVs got stuck in the snow and and had to shovel themselves out. I wouldn’t park on the snow unless you are confident in yourself and your car! No snow on the trail until ~1.3 miles. And then you’ll hit snow. If you’re arrive prior to noon, you’ll need spikes in sections since it’s still icy. No snowshoes.
