Snowshoe outing with 3 kids (ages 7-13). Parked at Kachess Sno-Park and showshoed to the campground where we had the beach to ourselves.
Road was well plowed and no issues with parking. Portapotties were well maintained. The trail is shared with snowmobilers and is wide and open. Though we heard them a few times while we were at the campground, only one group directly passed us on the trail, and they kindly slowed down as they went by.
5 miles round trip, minimal elevation change.
