Perfect kid friendly hike! Great bathrooms that are super clean and centrally located. WTA suggests starting at cranberry lake, but I think heading to the beach first would have been better. They have a little kiosk with a plant/animal ID sheets and a bingo card. Lots of clear signage and maps. And the trails have little informational postings to read. We got there at 12pm and parking was a bit hairy. Trails were a teensy bit muddy today, no bugs yet, and signs of spring are all over. Last suggestion would be to look at the tide charts and try to plan for low tide.
