Dirty Harry's Balcony, Dirty Harry's Peak — Wednesday, Apr. 6, 2022

Took advantage of the sunny day today with a trip to Dirty Harry's Peak. Only a few others on the trail today. The trail to the Balcony has very minimal snow, no traction needed. I put on microspikes about 1-1.25 mi from the Peak, and took them off about .25 mi from the Peak as the snow near the top is several feet deep and microspikes were not helpful at that point. The Peak is in an avalanche zone, so check conditions prior to attempting. I stayed back several feet from the ledge at the top, as it was unclear where the cliff and snow stopped. All in all, gorgeous day.
