Franklin Ghost Town — Saturday, Apr. 9, 2022

Arrived at the parking lot about 6 cars. It was 11am when we started and cloudy with sun breaks and about 45 degrees. Took the why at the sign that states Town to the right and Cemetery/Mine Shaft to the left. We too the right trail great views but the town isn't really a town just a few structures. We kept walking up the trail until we realized that there was no actual ghost town we ended up at a 3 way junction of sorts and turned back. These were the additional trails for a longer hike. We headed back down to the Y and went up to Mine Shaft and Cemetery. On way back down right before we got to gate to the parking lot we attempted the falls hike but by this time we were tired and didn't make it down Next time. Got back to the car after 5.5 mile hike when it started to snow/ rain/ hail that was 1pm.
