Arrived at the Prairie Overlook trailhead just before 9am, was the first car in the lot and didn't see anyone parked at the cemetery as I passed. Toilets are open and in good condition. Was a lovely day to view the Salish Sea, wildflowers are just starting to bloom in some areas. Hiked the loop counterclockwise along the bluff, followed the inside path along the lagoon finally landing at the beach. The lagoon path is muddy in places and requires occasional driftwood hopping, but very easy to follow and manageable, and affords different scenery than following the beach all the way back. Lots of birds out and very few people this Wednesday morning. Only passed a handful on my trek, though saw a dozen or so others in the distance along the trail.
