We paired this hike with Heybrook Ridge - apparently the trails do connect, but we did them separately. We got to the trailhead around 11:30am and snagged one of the last spots in the lot. The hike is surprisingly steep and steady which makes for a great short workout. Lots of rocks on the trail. The stairs up the lookout are very narrow and it isn’t very easy to pass other people so be mindful. Not a lot of room at the top, it felt crowded. If you continue past the lookout and stay to the left you will get to the summit of Heybrook Mountain, the views have power lines but they’re still nice and it’s far less crowded.

Traillesstraveled on Heybrook Lookout
Did you happen to see any evidence of a trail head break in in occurring. I heard they were occurring in the area again.

I didn't see any evidence of it on that day.
