North Butte, Lily and Lizard Lake Loop — Sunday, May. 8, 2022

Went with a friend for a sunset hike on North Butte via the Alternative Incline Trail. The trail after the road walk is a constant uphill before reaching the three way junction that forms the Lily Lake Loop. Most trail signs don't point towards North Butte until the last .5 miles or so, so having an AllTrails map downloaded helped. On the way down, some parts of the trail were a bit muddy and I had to take my time on some of the steeper rocky parts, but other than that the trail is in good condition.
