Absolutely beautiful! A gorgeous, leisurely hike. The main challenges are that it's long and on sand, but with the tide mostly out the sand was relatively firm. Low tide was around 8am and high tide around 4pm. Arrived at 10am and it took under 2 hours to get to the lighthouse. Spent about an hour there walking around the grounds and watching some seals fishing out in the water, and got started heading back at 1pm. There is a short interpretive trail and you can go into the lighthouse! By the time I started heading back the tide had moved halfway up from where it was when I started, but there was still plenty of room on the beach between the water and the rocky/driftwood area. The sand was a little softer higher up but still relatively firm. Maybe about 50% of the people out that day chose to actually go all the way to the lighthouse, so it wasn't that busy. The parking lot was halfway full when I arrived and left.
