Went hiking with my large dog and had a great time. Got there around 10am and the parking lot was already a pretty full so definitely get there early. It was nice and sunny all the way. The only two non major issues I encountered were some bugs and some muddy sections on the trail. The trail itself was a bit busy but not too majorly crowded. Enjoyed some beautiful views and foliage and stopped by the river on the way back. Left at around 11:30 and the parking lot was super crowded at that point with some cars having been blocked in by other cars.
