Pipestone Canyon Rim Trail — Wednesday, May. 25, 2022

I loved this hike for the variety of terrain and never ending views. I saw lots of butterflies, 3 rattlesnakes, a racer snake, birds galore, blue skies, happy bugs, flowers and chatted with friendly hikers. I went counterclockwise as I prefer to climb rather than to descend and was happy for the decision. I'd wager the views are a level better from this angle as well. It is exposed to sun, however, so take your time if you choose this option and carry a little h2o. Outstanding early season hike!
