The road to the trailhead is mostly smooth, but there are definitely some rough spots, especially around the bridge right before the trailhead. The trail was in good shape. There were a couple muddy spots but they were east to navigate. We only saw three other groups on the trail and we had the top all to ourselves. Truly a stunning view of the entire Middle Fork Valley. Even though it was cloudy, you could still see everything. Truly one of the great low work/high reward payoff hikes, especially considering how it wasn’t crowded. 10/10.
