Tradition Lake Loop — Sunday, Jun. 12, 2022

Tradition Lake Loop by DTrish

We followed google map to tradition lake and the map took us to the middle of I90. But we managed to find it, it’s on exit 20 of I90.

I would recommend taking the picture of the tail map at the beginning and use GPS to keep you in the right direction. We started out from swamp trail. The story of Zoe motivated kids to keep moving but we were a bit disappointed that the story didn’t have an end, unless the last storyboard is hidden somewhere. We then took big tree trail, wetland and get to round lake. You can actually get to the base of the lake and play with water. After that we took the bus trail and jumped to around the lake trail. On the bus trail we didn’t get to see the bus because we jumped to around the lake trail to see the lake. The lake itself is far from the trail, there is only a view point to it. We should have stay in round lake longer and take the bus trail to the end. Regardless we had a great time, the trails are well paved and have enough signs, there were a few points we were unsure but our gps was able to help us.

We got there around 9:40 on a Sunday and the parking was almost full, there were trail runners and lots of little kids just like ours. It took us about 2.5 hr to go through the whole path with 4 kids under 10.
