Arrived at the trailhead about 9am. Still a few spots left in the lot. Only ran into a few climbers on the way up. The wildflowers for the first mile were beautiful! The lake was very nice. My mileage tracker said that it was about 6 miles up to the the lake, making the trail more like a 12 mile hike. There were about 10 down trees that were easy to cross. We continued up to snow lake. The heavy rain made it impossible to cross the water between the lakes without getting pretty wet. (though others did it) There is more snow heading up to snow lakes but the trail is not fully covered.
