It's still chilly up there, especially with the fog today (luckily we got to the top just in time to see some of the view before it rolled in completely). Still no rhodies blooming yet. And if you haven't been on this hike before, yes you need to continue about a relatively flat half-mile past the summit (no views there), through the rhododendron forest to the large rocky outcropping to see glorious views of Mount Townsend and many other peaks to the south and west. The trail was in great condition, IMO.
