Beautiful hike along the old Great Northern rail grade.
Almost flat, except for the crossover trails between the rail switchback sections. You can skip the crossover trails and just go back and forth on the lower trail if you want.
Damp, drippy, and a little muddy in mid-June. The lower trail had one 20 foot section of snow pack. Another hiker said the upper trail had a fair amount more.
The old tunnels, the snow shed walls, and the historic markers are pretty cool.
