Bugs were quite annoying at the top but none seemed to bother me while I was moving. This is the second time I've been on this trail and I made it to the Ledges in 26 minutes.
The Middle Fork area offers a lot of great hikes and this is just one of them. I wasn't really feeling it in my legs, (after Stegosaurus Butte) until I hit the stairs. I'd rather just hike on flat trail instead of hiking on these "stairmaster" like trails. But all is good in the neighborhood.
There were a few people meandering about, kids in tow and some dogs, (all on leashes).
The potholes before the bridge, and after will claim your bumper if you're going in too fast and do not have the required clearance to drive this section of road.
Took a much needed break from cleaning up dog poop bags on Heybrook and got me some outside time on some good ol' trails in the PNW. And got my cardio in for the day, too.
