Todays hike was great. God blessed me to run 10 miles on the SVT before the hike so my legs and feet were a little. But God helped me persevere. I wanted to challenge myself and see if I had the strength to climb after the run. Thank God I made it. Weather was perfect. Trail lovely. I still don’t know why people have their young children climb that mountain. I feel so sorry when a parent is telling their three or four year old child that they can make. Strange and weird, cruel.
At any rate. Talked to a nice lady briefly on the hike, that is always fun. Enjoyed all the people on the hike. I enjoyed the young boys probably middle school age admiring my stick that I acquired at the start of the hike to help my balance. I just remember the kids saying fist bump to each other as they climbed to the top of the ledge with their parent. It reminded me that school was starting in two days as I am a teacher and spring break is winding down.
The hike was perfect. I always enjoy the people on the hike. Good place to meet somebody.
