We got to the trailhead just after 2pm & managed to get a park, though it was pretty full & plenty of cars parked along the side of the road (watch out for a few big potholes onto the the road in). Trail was in good condition. Few patches of water trickling over the trail, but easy to walk through without getting wet shoes. Wildflowers are starting - stream violets, trillium, & even a few fairy slippers! We camped at the lake. Despite it being a Saturday & great weather, there were still some sites free & only saw a few other campers. Would definitely hike & camp here again.
