A pleasant spring stroll along gurgling Crab Creek.
The sun was shining, the temperatures were pleasant and the valley was green. I took the cowpath along the creek for a short out-and-back about 1.5 miles one-way. Songbirds and a flowing creek provided a relaxing soundtrack for the walk. A couple of deer scurried up the South bank and watched intently as I passed. Various small birds were chasing the bugs while the larger hawks soared above.
A father and son were fishing along the South bank so at least with hip-waders, the creek is crossable.
