Hiked up to the ridge top about 1 mile east of the Muller summit starting from the Highway 101 Soleduck divide trailhead. Took about 2 hours up. No water on the trail except for the creek where the Olympic Discovery Trial intersects the Mt. Muller trail, so bring plenty.
There are about 20 trees down across the trail mostly in the first mile and a half. Small stuff easy to walk over except for two bigger trees about 2 feet in diameter which might pose an obstacle to equestrians.
Few flowers were out yet but they will come in a month or two. Very nice views of Mt. Olympus and Mt. Tom once you get to the "Mosely Gap" point around mile marker 7 and continue West climbing up another 1/2 mile heading west towards the Muller summit.
I had the trail entirely to my self on a sunny day mid-week. There is no snow anywhere up there now.
