One vehicle was parked when we arrived around 9 am on a rainy Saturday. We saw no other people the entire way out to Echo Lake, and on our way back not until reaching the Greenwater lakes bridge crossings. Over 11 miles of solitude! The rest of the 3 mile trip back to the trailhead was a bit busier.
We saw two goats on the mountainside looking over the creek after greenwater lakes, before the split between Echo and Lost lakes trails.
There were some tricky sections, trees down along the way and intermittent snow approaching Echo Lake, but no snow at the main campsite.
