After Spring Barrel weekend in Yakima, we met friends at 11am for a hike to see the wildflowers. Parking was plentiful and there is a sani-can at the trailhead.
We took a leisurely hike on the 4 mile Wildflower Trail Loop. Signage was pretty good, but having the map on the phone helped keep us on the right path.
The wildflowers were still great, but some are fading. The weather was cloudy, low 50s, no rain. We saw some interesting cloud formations and enjoyed the views of the vineyards.
