Drizzly and breezy Sunday at Mima Mounds. The shooting range was an annoyance especially near the trailhead, but got less irksome on the south loop. Wildflowers were spectacular, lots of camas blooming, and some buttercup, purple violet and yellow lomatium. Even saw a couple chocolate lillies but they were too far from the trail to photograph. I’m really glad I stopped by to hike here, this is a special place this time of year.
