Oyster Dome — Sunday, May. 12, 2024

Got to experience the new, improved, forest road all the way to the Trailhead. No more potholes, plenty of dust, all vehicles can easily drive the narrow road! Very nice job. The view from the small parking lot was gorgeous yesterday. 
We arrived at 1PM… out to Oyster dome trail, and instead of doing a Out and back we descended via Lily lake and Max shortcut.gave us a loop instead of a out and back, and there was nobody on the way down. Perfect! The views really are at the parking and Oyster dome, most of the trail is in the trees. That made for a 6.3 to 6.8 miles hike, depending of the app :).
