Hiked this lovely leg-stretcher on a long drive from the Methow to Olympia. The Swauk Campground is closed and gated, so add another flat mile-ish onto the length. Easy hike up the slope to the base of the rock, which really isn't visible until you are right under it. Pretty views from the top, then down the other side to make a loop. We started at the end of the regular campground and ended up near the picnic shelter--but there is no sign on the trail at that end, so keep an eye out; it's visible through the trees. Definitely worthwhile!
