Snowshoed to the pass today and had lunch while watching the avalanches come off 3 fingers. Great time. 👍
*Dowm towards the bottom there is a WTA bag on the trail.

Did you find the snowshoes essential for the snow as it is now? Or would microspikes suffice do you think? Wonderful pictures and some happy dogs for sure.

I found the snowshoes to be a great help going up. Micro spikes would probably be fine, especially going down. It was nice to stay on top of the wet stuff though.

Just finished this hike, pretty sure I followed your snow shoe prints, solid path, wish I brought some, thought it be easy, but there was still a ton of snow up there, boots were like aqua socks by the time I was done lol

Dang sorry to hear it wasn't pleasant without the shoes signal, my apologies for misleading you. Glad you stuck it out, nice work.

Hey if anything your snowshoe prints and pole holes were the only reason I even had any idea where to go! All good! Was fun being the only one up there and the view was totally worth it.
