Parking: overflow lot was half full at 10am, of note the upper lot is OPEN.
Trail: a little muddy at times but nothing too bad. Easy to follow for the first half then you need to pay more attention to the white diamond blazes marked on the trees. Took 2.5hrs from lower lot to reach the mailbox. Fairly sunny day however Tahoma stayed hidden behind the clouds. Cache a few snacks in the mailbox for hungry hikers.
Crowds: saw around 40 people or so, three dogs all on leashes.
Please remember to leave no trace, picked up a few plastic bottles coming back down on the old trail.
