Bridal Veil Falls, Lake Serene — Friday, Mar. 29, 2024

Got to the trailhead around 9:45 am on Good Friday, March 29. Bathrooms were still locked for the winter season. The climb up to Bridal Veil Falls was snow-free but included a few stream crossings. I decided to hike up to Lake Serene as well and encountered some deep snow on the trail. Unfortunately, the snow was a bit too treacherous to make it to the lunch rock, so I’ll have to return in the summer. Lake Serene was still covered in snow but absolutely gorgeous.
