The weather was a bit temperamental on Saturday. We'd go through patches of brilliant sunshine with visibility to neighboring mountain peaks, and then hit pretty sudden rain, followed by snow. Temps were cold above the waterfall four miles in. The trail does peter out a bit there, and we didn't risk making it to the lake. However, the hike was very interactive with all of the waterfalls and skipping over rocks and navigating creek crossings. For the whole time, we passed around five groups.
