Lodge Lake — Saturday, Jun. 22, 2024

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass
Water crossing

We had gorgeous weather for our hike to Lodge Lake. The WTA description does a good job but I'll add a couple notes:

- There is a significant water crossing (at least if you have kids or less mobile hikers in your group.) I'll include a photo. We hadn't brought our poles along with us but thankfully there were quite a few walking sticks on both sides of the crossing since other people had used them before.

- The bank of the lake was extremely muddy. I wish we had brought rain boots for our son and swapped into those when we got there. The mud combined with some pretty intense bugs meant that we only stayed at the lake about 5 minutes before turning around.

This wasn't my favorite hike but I'm still glad we did it. I was also excited to see a disc golf course being installed on the ski slopes!
