North Cascades > Mount Baker Area

The trail road has some holes but just easy to pass..and after park nice clean toilets..we did one night stay backpacking and in group we were 10

1st camp spot near the pit toilet..you will have a nice forest view while doing your business..

Several wayer crossing and your feet will get wet no matter..couple crossing needs attention and take slow..this is hard hike for Beginners and I had 3 Beginners I'm group but they made it true..

Some bugs at camp area, they around until rain starts..we got low level rain I say %20-30

Shoes/boots got wet and some of us didn't go al the way Glacier view spot..

We went murder after camp spot, and decided return to spot and setup..after some of us went to Glacier view point..

We saw many Climbers..Skiers..

Trail starts with elevation kick in, and 1st camp spot is 5310ft high point..near water so filter great..hanging gravity filter not great because no spot..I trow my food ha.ging robe, and hang water filter..than added food bags and pull up..

We went to sleep around 1030 and past out in hour..only 2 spot for hammocks in camp area, and one is actually on trail..

Has about 8-10 tent spots..

2nd camp area according my friends smaller, and has trees for hammock..

3rd is rocky side..

GPS kind of tricky for camp spot..so if you want go 2nd spot just stick on main trail don't try split point because doesn't exist..

Main trail takes you there..

Water falls is beautiful..and river pass tricky..bugs says hi..all over great area..
