Road in was easy to follow, but there were some sections with larger potholes. Would recommend high clearance or confident driving. Arrived at 10 am and did not see anyone else on the trail until our way back down.
The trailhead was unmarked but easy to find, and a sign a little ways up the trail confirms that you are headed to Mount Catherine. The trail itself was pleasant, decently steep, but no sections that were really challenging until the last hundred feet or so. The snow is almost entirely melted, with only a couple sections left that are all relatively easy to cross. The views from the top were gorgeous, clearing up to the southeast but staying pretty cloudy in the direction of Snoqualmie Pass. Mount Rainier almost poked through, but still looked great. I'm guessing that the people who came up later got a better view. There were lots of great spots at the top to sit and eat, and the weather cleared up enough to enjoy the view. On the way down, the sun cleared up and we saw a good amount of people going up.
Total hike was 3.2 miles and 1250 feet of elevation.
