Colchuck Lake — Friday, Jun. 28, 2024

The trail and bridges are in fantastic order—no snow, and only light sitting water after the boulder field. Bugs were present but not terrible after the bridge to the boulders, and nearly none at the lake. 

Still lots of wildflowers blooming and saw four deer, one with a fawn. Parking was smooth, as it was a quick hike up/down on Friday afternoon. Creek was running strong and listening to the falling water was a fantastic backdrop soundtrack.
