Despite years of "I'm going to hike Denny Creek," this was my first time. I found it pleasantly easy and well-maintained. I was here for a WTA workday party, so I didn't make it to the end, only stopped in areas to get some work done. That said - bugs weren't a problem anytime we were moving. If we stopped they were pretty annoying. There's plenty of mud that we tried to alleviate, but time and sunshine will tell how long it takes to dry up. The temperature was lovely and I saw numerous groups with children or dogs enjoying the trail.
Things to keep in mind:
- The gate to Denny Creek is closed to vehicles with parking currently at the Franklin Falls trailhead.
- The DC bathroom is also closed w/ the choice again of at the FFT parking lot or a private spot behind a tree.
