I took King County Metro bus 40 from Northgate Station and got off at Holman Rd NW & 3rd Ave NW. The Eddie McAbee trailhead is located behind the QFC store. I walked Piper’s Creek Trail all the way to the beach, encountering flowering salmonberries and some remaining tree blossoms at Piper’s Orchards. There were a few small mud patches on the trail, but the trail was mostly clear and clean.

The lush green trees, salmonberries, and a peek of the Olympic mountains at the beach provided great opportunities for some film photos.
