Goat Peak — Wednesday, Jul. 3, 2024

I get a bit nervous leaving my car next to the highway, but this short hike is a great workout with high payoffs in the views up top. I ran into a small herd of mountain goats near the top but they went the other way when they spotted me. Great solitude on this hike, I saw one trail runner, and one group of 2 on the way down. Perfect way to escape the heat. Do it.
