Along the the standard cross country ridge route to DeRoux Peak, starting from near the saddle where Koppen side-trail starts, there are now two signs (bolted to trees) asking folks not to use this DeRoux Peak route. Lacking designation of any official organization, along with the spelling and grammar errors, makes me suspect this is not official. If anyone knows otherwise, please comment below. Thanks.

Visited yesterday and found the same sign. Emailed USFS, and received this response: "Thank you for notifying us of this sign. It is NOT an approved or official USFS sign, so feel free to use this trail in the future."

And for the record, the tracks drawn on this map (the red GPX and the black arrow approaching De Roux summit from the southwest) do not, in fact, represent established trails.
